Modern Kung Fu Modern Kung Fu is now a sport. I believe it is superior to karate in several important respects. The First is in its philosophy. The Second is in its practicality.
12
Philosophy of Kung Fu The Philosophy of Kung Fu is one of peace. The goal is not to win or to hurt people. Kung Fu is about discipline and self control.

Practical Kung Fu Kung Fu is a balance between two separate goals. The first is to look inward and master forms. The second is Sparring. The goal of sparring is mainly to uncover ones own weaknesses whether or not you win is unimportant.
