The Noble women played a very interesting role in the Middle Ages because they were one of the wealthiest people. INTRODUCTION

Had to run the household Occasionally had to organize the defense of a castle before an attack Had to provide children to inherit the land ROLES OF THE NOBLE WOMEN

Most Noble women lived in castles Slept in solar bedroom (master bedroom) Each room had a fireplace CASTLES

Wore many layers of clothing to keep warm Wore colors red, purple, and royal blue to show their wealth Sewed all clothes by hand Jewelry of gold or silver CLOTHING OF NOBLE WOMEN

Held and attended huge celebrations called feasts Celebrated marriages or battles won in the biggest hall in a castle called great halls Some feasts would need 120 piglets and 6000 eggs or 60 full grown pigs prepared Some forms of entertainment were jousting, board games, or jesters IMPORTANT EVENTS

A guarded and exclusive preserve of nobility Hunted, guarded castles, and played with children Trained to attack knights in battle Were often presented as royal or noble gifts IRISH WOLFHOUNDS

As you can see life in the Middle Ages is very interesting as a wealthy Noble woman! CONCLUSION
