4. Yellow leaf – is our warning leaf. It helps children to see that the choices they are currently making need reflecting upon. Children who fall to the yellow leaf are normally in learning zone 2 or 1 which do not show our optimal learning behaviours.

5. Red leaf – is an indication that reflection time is necessary as continued wrong choices are being demonstrated. Once moved to the red leaf, children will have a minimum of 5 minutes reflection time at our designated zone in the classroom. Children are invited to think about the choices they have made, the root they have not followed and what they can do to restore good behaviour.

9. Protective hands Every child has a protective hand. We all have the right to feel safe. Nothing is so awful that you can’t talk to someone about it.

10. Worry box Every classroom has a worry box that the children are able to use at any time.

17. PE days Miss Scoggins has forest schools on Monday and PE on Wednesday. Miss Maisuria has PE and forest schools on Thursday. PE kit can be brought in on Monday and taken home on Friday.
