3. We Must Be Sure that Jesus’ words and the Bible is Truly from God! “If I am going to commit to that, I have to have extreme confidence that it is God’s word.” Hopefully these classes will help with some of that.

4. Make up your mind now! Count the Cost (Luke 14:25-33) Daniel 1:8 Ex. Marriage

5. Hunger and thirst for Righteousness Over Hunger for what feels right Matt. 5:6 Matt. 6:33 Ex. Woman who went to churches You can always find a church/religion/interpretation that will tell you it’s ok… Are you looking to justify your conscience or are you looking to be right with God? 2 Tim. 4:3-4

6. Loving God and his word more than Relationships Matt. 10 Ex. An engaged couple It will most likely happen that a family member or close friend, with teach or practice error/immorality.

7. There is no Other Viable Option: John 6:66-69 TO WHOM SHALL WE GO??? If we reject Christ’s words of truth, the only other option is the lies of Satan. If I can keep my relationships, but I will lose relationship with Christ If I can enjoy comfort and sinful pleasure now, I will not enjoy eternal pleasure in heaven later.

8. Most Every Good thing in life is HARD Good shape/health Good grades in school Advancement in your career Good relationships Having children Most every worthwhile thing in life has its difficulties and struggles!!!
