Diwali (Deepawali) – “Festival of Lights”  Diwali is known as Festival of Lights ( The word Deepawali means “Rows of Lamps” )  This important five (5) day festival is celebrated among Hindus in all parts of the world.  Generally celebrated in Mid October to Mid November every year.  Celebration of the victory of good over evil.  The festival is usually celebrated by:  Decorating Home –Lighting Lamps, Hanging Lanterns, Rangoli ( color Sand Design)  Get Together of Family and Friends.  Prayer to god for the Happiness.  Exchanging, distributing Gifts and special sweets.  Fireworks.

3. Diwali (Deepawali) – “Festival of Lights” Lantern: Colorful paper lanterns for the Diwali decoration. Rangoli, the color sand. Lighting Lamps.
