Other terms to know NASDAQ : another stock exchange, all electronic (no actual floor like the NYSE) Blue chips : the best stocks--- the highest performing and most solid Bull market = prices going up; Bear market = most prices decreasing

More vocab Dividends : your share of the company’s profits Common stock : can vote on board of directors Preferred stock : stockholders can’t vote but get their dividends first
