2 Project Overview The students will be creating a cookbook that includes healthy food recipes. They are learning about healthy food choices and fitness and will be using what they learn to create the cookbook.

3 Noise Level 1 1.Monday Read and discuss the short story Stay Healthy Stay Happy. 1.Tuesday Finish reading and discussing the short story Stay Healthy Stay Happy. 2.Wednesday During this station you will be filling out some questions about the story you read on Monday and Tuesday. If you complete the handout, you can read The Giving Tree! If time allows, take turns discussing what you are thankful for in your life 4. Thursday Happy Thanksgiving! 5. Friday Happy Thanksgiving! 4 Writing “Sending out thanks” Monday Today, we will be brainstorming to think about people on our lives and our building that we are thankful for! We can also discuss words that you might need to know, review the parts of a letter, and discuss the items all sentences need to be complete! Tuesday Today you will be starting your thank you letters ! Make sure you have a nice message for the person you choose. Wednesday During this station you will be completing your thank you letters and putting on the final touches to make sure they are ready to be delivered! Thursday Happy Thanksgiving! 5 Self-Selected Reading / Accelerated Reader Noise Level 0 1.Choose a library book or a book of choice that you have not read. 2.Be sure you picked a book that you can read alone. 3.Silently read. 4.After you finish your book, write the name of the book in your Data Binder. 5.Be sure to fill in the information about your book in your binder. 6.If you can answer all the questions in your Data Binder, get your laptop and log on to AR to take your test. 7.Record your AR score in your Data Binder..
