2 Interesting Fact: When the eagle was being considered for the national emblem, Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be the emblem. The Bald Eagle Symbol Represents: National bird of the United States Adopted Date: June 20, 1782

3 The Liberty Bell The Bell was cast in London, England in 1752 Symbol Represents: The symbol of Freedom Interesting Fact: The last time the bell rang was on February 23, 1846 for George Washington’s birthday celebration.
