Enforcement strategy Pipework –if user proves replacement scheduled – OK and CV; –if clearly badly corroded or damaged – PN; –if no replacement strategy/inspection/examination/maintenance – IN Bulk tanks –separation distances; –ventilation around tanks; –open drains; –vegetation; –security and impact protection.

Supplier strategy Capacity of suppliers for pipe replacement LPGA CoP compliance evidence collected nationally including –risk assessment of siting; –initial integrity of pressure vessel; –separation distance; –information to user; –safe delivery; –driver checks prior to filling tank Meeting BP 30 July; Calor 1 September

HSE/FOD Progress in Scotland (to August 2010) 350 premises list/150 sites list awaited; 200 inspections done; 170 Notices issued; 50:50 pipework/tanks; Tanks – separation, security, impact protection, vegetation.
