3 Background Integrated Community Sustainability Plans (ICSP) are a requirement under the Canada-GN Gas Tax Agreement The Gas Tax Fund supports infrastructure that promotes a cleaner environment and produces sustainable communities. GN has committed funds towards water, wastewater and solid waste projects. Extension Agreement: Funding expires March 31st 2014. Funding is 100% Federal Progress Over 30 projects have been initiated to date Fiscal Year Canada’s Contribution 2005-06$4.5 million 2006-07$4.5 million 2007-08$6 million 2008-09$7.5 million 2009-10$15 million 2010-11$15 million 2011-12$15 million 2012-13$15 million 2013-14$15 million Total$97.5 million

10 Next steps… ICISP’s will be utilized in the annual capital planning process ICISP’s will provide the foundation for the bi-annual community consultation process ICISP’s will provide hamlets with a ‘living document’ and long term planning tool CGS will utilize ICISP’s to populate an infrastructure database
