Your Turn: Collage on the theme of “Youth Rights to Expression in the Age of AIDS” 1.Make small groups of 3-5 2.Pick 4 magazine images each that grab your attention 3.Discuss among your group why you choose these pictures and how you see them relate to the theme “Youth Rights to Expression in the Age of AIDS”

9. Collage Layout Start cutting the images. Lay out all the images before you start to glue! Discuss with your groups why you are placing certain pieces where. Ask yourselves, “What does it mean to place this image next to another?” “Is this collage cohesive? Are the different pieces relating to each other?” “How will the audience understand this collage?”
