FOOD SPECIALITIES In Brazil at general there is a típica food that is the feijoada with rice.Is the most popular food, practicaly in all the country at the tables of the brazilians.Feijoada is what they gives to their slaves to eat at those times.Now a days feijoada has expensive ingridients like pork. In the south región there is the famous “Churrasco”. In the north east the acaraje. And in the north there is a variety of plates like fishes an regional fruits. And anothers famous plates are the pao de queijo, quindim and brigadeiros

INGREDIENTS Cheese (in Minas Gerais), many types of fishes, sea food, farinha (to prepare farofa that it is used to go with the feijoada). Great variety of fruits (acaí, abacaxi, coconut, caja, and much more). In the north region peanut, bakery and condensate milk.

CLOTHES In the south region the `Gaucho´ wears bombachas and big hats. In the north region the woman who live in Bahía wear long skirts (with volados and encajes). Most the clothes they use are white.

DANCES In the north region the most famous dance is the “capoeira” that is like a type of fight with dance that it comes from a part of Africa. Another one is the samba.

RELIGION AND MUSIC Brazilian people are very religious. The most common religion is Roman Catholicism. There is also a mix of religions that is called “ Syncretism ” that surged from the esclavitude. MPB ( popular Brazilian music in Spanish ), samba bossa nova, forro, axè.

CULTURE In Rio Grande do Sul it is common to drink chimarro (mate). It is very famous the Rio carnival with fun music and great decoration. The people also try to ride bulls.
