JAMES Authorship Debate Most Camps say either James the Lord’s brother or James the son of Alpheus camp 2 Christ is only mentioned twice James 1:1 and 2:1 camp 1 The other James are always identified as brother of John/son of zebedee or son of Alpheus.. Not here mentioned so inferring James the brother of Christ… Jude also refers to himself as servant of Christ later on, he was James brother, also half brother of Christ

41. THOUGHTS Jas 4:14 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Jas 4:15 For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.

42. THOUGHTS Jas 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Jas 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Jas 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
