3. Profile Abstract LDR provides information to the health care providers about the labor and delivery and the newborn in an in-patient setting. This information is useful if the mother or the newborn are transferred to a more specialized unit (OR or NICU) The data can also be used in an out-patient setting for continuation of care for both mother and child.
