9 Who May Submit? Any member of AHI may submit curricular material for consideration for this award.* If you are not a member of AHI, it is simple to join – Go to the AHI website: http://www.a4hi.org/?q=node/6 http://www.a4hi.org/?q=node/6 Up to two submissions from one individual may be considered for this award. * Members of AHI Board and Editorial Board not eligible. 10 Submission Guidelines Text submissions – no more than 50 pages in length PowerPoint – no more than one PowerPoint presentation Any single attachment may not exceed 5 MB in size For curricula exceeding these limits, submit representative material that illustrates the award criteria.

11 Recognition of Winning Entries Winners will be notified by November 15, 2010. Winners will be recognized at the 2010 AHI Scientific Symposium on December 6, 2009 in Orlando, Florida. Cash prizes will be awarded to winners. – First place - $500; Second place - $300; Third place - $200 Winning submissions will be highlighted on the AHI home page. 12 How to Submit Entries Submission deadline: October 1, 2010 Submit materials via the AHI website: https://a4hi.org/review/ You will need to have an AHI user name and password to access the site (you obtain this when you join AHI). 20 Tips to Increase Your Chances of Winning Every submission should identify educational objectives for the curricular material Submissions should identify evaluation methods that have been or can be used to assess effectiveness of the material. For case studies, submitters should highlight appropriate questions and teaching points that apply the lessons from the case to the focus content area. Slide 19
