Active Directory : Overview Active Directory is basically a database of all users and computers at Knox County Schools It will be an organized list of students, teachers, staff, and parents in the school district It is a list of hardware resources available to users Servers Computers Will work with Windows and Macintosh Networked Printers Benefit of Using Active Directory Single-Sign On For Many Applications Can Sign On At All Schools Increased Security
