LETTER TO FUTURE STAFF MEMBERS We are going to make a video and a scrapbook for future staff members. Today, you will begin the assignment on page 208. Draft your letter following the outline on page 209, but do it on a separate sheet of paper. Submit rough draft to be checked by Ms. Palma before typing final draft.

FUTURE GUIDELINES Type your final draft of your letter to future staff members and upload it to Edmodo as a WORD DOCUMENT, named as follows: block, last name, first initial, underscore, letter Example: 7andersond_letter.doc When you are finished, complete the Personal Touch Interview. Go to the lunch room to find someone to interview. If you do not finish in class, this is homework.

TIME TO BEGIN REFLECTING Reflection #1 Choose what you consider to be your most significant piece of work for the publication this year. Write a complete analysis of why this is your best work. Include: your purpose and how easy or difficult it was to complete, and how the work evolved from first effort to published piece. Make specific references to the process you went through in creating this piece and to anything you learned as you went along. Discuss what you particularly like about the finished product. Be specific.
