3. Wedding Rings The Scripture portrays our relationship with God using the metaphor of marriage God is a faithful husband His people must be a faithful wife

4. “If a husband divorces his wife, and she goes from him, and belongs to another man, will he still return to her? Will not that land be completely polluted? But you are a harlot with many lovers; Yet you turn to Me,” declares the LORD. Jer 3:1

5. “Contend with your mother, contend, For she is not my wife, and I am not her husband; and let her put away her harlotry from her face,…” Hos 2:2

6. “And I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion, and I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the LORD.” Hos 2:19-20

7. “For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin.” 2 Cor 11:2

11. We gather this morning as the bride of Christ. We celebrate our marriage with the Lamb of God. Our worship can teach us to be more faithful to the One who espoused us and saved us. Please join with us in our worship assembly.
