PROCEDURES: Propose to FS to GK GK to Admission Committee (to conduct investigation and submit report in 10 days) GK announces the result Orientation + Admission course 1 st Degree Exemplification Presentation of new member during council meeting. ADMISSION COMMITTEE

MEMBERS: Deputy Grand Knight Chancellor Financial Secretary Recorder Program Director Membership Director Warden, Advocate, Trustees Inside/Outside Guards Fraternal Counselor RETENTION COMMITTEE

FUNCTIONS : Payment of dues Attendance in meetings Attendance in activities Degree reached Spiritual formations Positions occupied KC Fraternal Benefits RETENTION COMMITTEE

PROCEDURES : A week prior to the general membership meeting, Retention Committee meets, to be presided by the DGK. RETENTION COMMITTEE

PROCEDURES : FS reports on unpaid dues Chancellor to report on inactive members (sick, disabled, etc.) Suspend members due to non-payment of dues: FS to send demand letter Chancellor to follow up Advocate to send final demand letter Recommendation DGK to report RETENTION COMMITTEE

OTHER GROUNDS : Suspension/Expulsion of members due to infractions of law- Receive written complaints Summon member concerned to be sent by Advocate Set it for hearing Recommendation DGK to report RETENTION COMMITTEE

1 st to 2 nd Degree Dues & exemplification fee paid Attendance in council meetings and activities Six months as active member (Except for new councils) Formation course Serves as member in any committee How to Advance Members

2nd to 3rd Degree Good standing in his council Must be a 2 nd Degree member Must have completed the Spiritual Formation – Knighthood course Must be recommended by the Retention Committee of his council, duly endorsed by his DD and present certificate of completion of Spiritual Formation How to Advance Members

2nd to 3rd Degree Has paid his exemplification fee, duly received ‘n acknowledged by the host DD. Membership Dues paid Attendance in council meetings and activities Six months as active member (Except for new councils) Formation course Serves as chairman in any committee How to Advance Members

3rd to 4th Degree Membership Dues paid Attendance in council meetings and activities One (1) year as active as 3 rd degree (Except for new councils) Must attend Patriotic course Serves as director (now – can be 6 months from 1 st degree to 4 th degree) How to Advance Members

Non-payment of SCA (Per Capita & Catholic Advertising Fund) No Financial Secretary Negligence/Oversight Non-submission of Reports (Election of Officers, Service Personnel, Semi-Annual Audit Report, Annual Fraternal Survey Report) REASON FOR SUSPENSION OF COUNCILS
