Morning Procedures Quietly complete any morning work at your desk. Read a book when you are finished with your morning work. Order Lunch. Hand in notes and homework to assigned areas.

Bathroom Procedures Raise your hand and ask to be excused from class. Leave quietly and follow school bathroom procedures. Return to class quickly and quietly. Do not disturb other students. Get bathroom pass and put on your desk. Put pass back in the proper place.

Morning Procedures Read front board. Hang up your coat and book bag in closet. Check iPod binder for notes and homework. Empty your book bag completely. Greet teacher as you enter the classroom.

Changing Rooms Be sure your area is neat. No papers on your desk or the floor. Wait to be called, push in chair, and line up quietly. Follow hallway procedures while changing classes. Make sure you have the supplies you need. You will not be allowed to return. Greet your teacher, sit quietly, and wait for directions.

End of Day Procedures Write all assignments in your planner. Complete classroom job if you have one. If you do not have a class job read a book quietly. Get out all materials you will need to complete your assignments (book, paper, pen, pencil, art supplies, etc.).

Direct Instruction Procedures Have materials ready to work. Participate by raising your hand. Respond appropriately. Use active listening. Ask if you need something cleared up. Be open to new ideas and use warm and cool comments to respond.

Hallway Procedures Walk quietly Stay in your assigned line. Walk to doorway or stairway, then wait quietly. Walk on the right. Walk respectfully by keeping hands and feet to yourself.

Cooperative Group Procedure Read and discuss task. When done clean up your area and throw out trash. Reflect on your group’s work. Discuss how you could improve for next time. Assign jobs including: discussion director, gopher, recorder, and reporter.

Cooperative Group Skills Use put-ups not put-downs. All members cooperate. Stay on task. Everyone actively participates.

End of Day Procedures When called for your bus or to line up put your chair on your desk and line up quietly. End of the day prayer. Wait at your seat quietly to be called to get your coat and backpack and for buses to be called.
