2. Purpose of Veterans Day This weekend marks one of only two federal holidays honoring living Americans: Veterans Day. Veterans Day has came to its purpose, there are ceremonies, but mostly veteran families commemorate themselves. Veterans Day arouses three emotions in most Americans: solemnity, because it celebrates the veterans who have defended our great country; sadness, because so many have lost their lives in the process; and pride, because they have fought so well

3. Federal or State Holiday Veterans Day is very much is so a federal and a state holiday But some states have these Holidays in different order

4. What It mean to Me! It means to me a great day for honor for those who fought this country for me and you. I have an Uncle and he died a year ago so when Veterans day come up I honor him with all my heart. My family honors him with a little get together to honor him!

5. How CELEBRATED!!! CLASSROOM ACTIVITY! And more to some have get together, meetings, prayer services so that is how we celebrate this awesome Holiday!!
