The Accountability Portal is being migrated to a new site: als.esc4.net We are in the process of updating all of the links in the Region 4 website to the new portal. I will post to both sites until the links have been updated.

School Improvement Updates

Priority and Focus Schools 5% of Title I schools with the widest gap in reading and math at the all students level 10% of Title I schools with the widest average gap in reading and math based on all federal student groups

Results of STAAR assessments in mathematics for grades 3–8 will be excluded from all four indexes and distinction designations.

Results of STAAR A and STAAR Alternate 2 assessments for all subjects and grade levels and EOC tests will be excluded from all four indexes and distinction designations.

In 2015, STAAR results of ELLs enrolled in their second through fourth years in U.S. schools who do not receive Bilingual/English as a Second Language instructional services will be included in Index 1 at the phase-in 1 level II standard.
