2. Social Studies I like Social Studies but it is not my favorite subject. I feel that my experience in Social Studies has improved a lot this year compared to the last. I still have to work on organization and responsibility which are my main goals for this year. The most important thing I have learned about Ancient History is about Kush, Egypt and 3 religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I think the most important unit is on the 3 religions because it is interesting to learn about other religions and there beliefs. My favorite activity in Social Studies is learning about Judaism and Christianity because it is very interesting to learn about what the Jews and Christians believe in. My overall goal is to get everything turned in and be a responsible and organized person.

3. Language Arts My writing has improved by understanding grammar like vowels, nouns, adjectives and so on. I have also improved on reading comprehension because Mrs.Burns makes us do prompts on Watsons book and the books we are reading. My reading has improved by reading faster and understanding the words in the book better. For my language arts experience this year I feel I have improved but I still need to work on very simple things like spelling and some grammar. My overall individual goal for this class is to be on the top and stay there so I can go to a good high school be a good person and be a good student it is also to get better at reading comprehension. In L.A we have been reading the Watson’s go to Birmingham, Alabama. In this book there are 6 main characters: Joetta the smallest sibling, Kenney/Kenneth the smart one, Byron who is “Daddy Cool”. 4. Science Literacy I have learned a lot from the I wonder project is why are some people color blind? It was not a very easy thing to find out I have a lot of information on my essay. My favorite part of this challenge was that we could choose any topic and find the information out by my self. My overall goal is to read a lot for guys read/girls read. In guys read girls read I have learned to read well and girls read helped me a lot with reading comprehension because we have to right summary's in our own words.

5. Science In our motion and design unit we have learned about design unit. We learned about Newton's 3 laws. Abby and I did a script sadly I do not have it. We also did our gravity cruiser which is a car that we have to make and we made it inn 1 month. 6. Math In math I struggle a lot. I can sometimes can get bad grades. Even though math is my favorite subject I still tend to struggle and get frustrated because I can not do something right and for me that is okay because sometimes struggling is a good thing. In this section you will learn about what I have done in math so far this year.

7. Stem and leaf plots Unit 1 started in September.

8. Stem And Leaf Plots  You might not know what a stem and Leaf Plot is because a Stem and Leaf Plot is a knew thing in this world. A stem and leaf plot is kind of like a graph and you use it to take a survey for millions of people so you will never run out of Space. In a stem and leaf plot the stems are the ones and the leafs are the tens. Lets say you have a number like 32 and 34 you wouldn’t have to wright the 3 twice in the ones place you would just have to right it once but for the tens place you would wright the 2 and the 4 from 32 and 34. I hope you are listening because I am going to give you tough problems at the end. Here is an example of a stem and leaf plot:

9. All About Numbers Unit 2 in November

10. All ABOUT NUMBERS In unit 2 we learned about Numbers, Decimals, and powers. Not the kind of powers like superman but 10 to the second power etc. We also learned about Decimals. Decimals are numbers that have a dot and after the dot it goes to a hundredth thousandth and it goes to a billionth. Then obviously you know what numbers are.

11. Adding Fractions Unit 4 in December

12. ADDING FRACTIONS WWhen you add Fractions you have to add them like this: 2/4 + 3/6=? What you would do is you would change the 4 and the 6 to an equal denominator 4 and 6 both go in to 24 so you would change the denominator to 24 and the numerator to 2 would change to 12 and 3 would change to 12. So 12/24 + 112/24= 24/24=1.

13. Algebra Unit 6 January-February

14. Algebra  Algebra is the thing that I struggle with Most. Algebra is like solving a puzzle or were the booty is on a map (x marks the spot) so you are just trying to figure out what x is. For example: x+6=10x-9. How do you figure that out.
