Accessing data Registration provides access to ESDS, census.ac.uk and the History Data Service Registration uses the Athens authentication system Anyone can register but some access restrictions for particular data/users Over 40,000 registered users Data are freely available for the majority of users Data downloaded in a variety of formats –micro data – SPSS, STATA, TAB –word processed documents –pdf documents
