Schedule Commitments & Adjustments * Change Requests: 1. Submit form 2. Course change requests will be considered if they meet one of the following criteria: Academic misplacement as determined by previous subject grades, related standardized test scores, teacher information, evidence of sufficient student effort and administrative approval; Missing a graduation requirement; Missing a course prerequisite; or Dropping a less difficult course for a more difficult course as determined by department guidelines.

3. A course change meeting the above criteria must be initiated within the first 2 six-day cycles of the school year. 4. In order to change schedules or drop a course, students must adhere to the following: Students must maintain enrollment in the required minimum credits; Students may not drop a course necessary for graduation; Beyond the first 2 six-day cycles of the school year, no course may be added; No credit will be given for the dropped course. No request to drop a course may be submitted after the end of the first marking period.. 5. On the rare occasion that a course(s) is approved to be dropped after 2 complete cycles, courses dropped will appear on the transcript with a grade of withdraw passing (WP) or withdraw failing (WF).
