How to Form a Section LM Chapter Prepare a Life Member chapter petition: –Use petition form (handout) –Section name –Name of the organizer/interim chair –List of section LM’s who will join chapter –Need minimum of 6 Life Members signatures –Must maintain minimum of 6 members –IEEE will provide up to $150/yr chapter costs

5. Getting Approval Submit petition to regional LM coordinator LM coordinator gets section approval Petition is submitted to IEEE LM chair Regional activities dept issues charter
