Another important occurrence in the history of the Bantu is a split that created two major language families.

Why is it a big deal? (Impacts)
They were the first to develop language and provides a clue when tracing the developments in Africa’s civilization. They were the first farmers and cattle-keepers of the area. One of the greatest mass movement of people in history Influenced culture in many tribes of the area

What do the Zulu have to do with it?
The Zulu are a group whose ancestors are the original Bantu people. Rose to power after the Bantu migration Largest and most influential tribe in Southern Africa
