LYB is working very closely with LLL on field utilization issues: The Village has limited field space to support youth activities. Many youth sports programs are vying for access to Libertyville fields. The Village has partnered with LLL for nearly 60 years to provide fields that support youth baseball activities to more than 1100 Libertyville kids. LYB has partnered with LLL to establish a strong community-based youth baseball program that efficiently uses Libertyville fields LYB has worked with LLL to establish fields (70/48) that support playing full rules baseball (leadoffs; steals; etc.) at age 11-12U. LYB will utilize age specific field progression [9U (60/46); 10U (65/46); 11U-12U (70/48); 13U (80/54); 14U (90/60)]. Field Utilization
