Bullying happens when someone sets out to hurt a person! They make their victim feel scared and unhappy by hurting them physically or emotionally. Bullying usually happens again and again with one or more people bullying the same person.

Types of Bullying!!! Physical Abuse This is when bully attacks someone by punching, kicking, hitting or pushing them. Verbal Abuse This happens when a bully uses words to hurt or frighten someone and can be done in lots of different ways. Silent Abuse This happens when a bully makes you feel bad but doesn't say anything - they may ignore you all the time or try to stop you joining in anything.

Who gets bullied? It is hard to say why people get bullied and others don’t – one thing is for certain, it is not their fault. Bullies need a victim and will search out anyone they can push around, they will always be able to find something to pick on. There are some things that can mean children are more likely to pick on.

Children that are Different People who appear different are targets for bullies, it doesn’t mean they will become victims of bullying, it just means that it is more likely that they will be approached by a bully.
