2. Today I will take you on a journey to discover the wonderful culture and exquisite cuisines of Greece. Throughout this assignment I have gained knowledge on many different stats and facts about Greece which will appear on the power point.

3. There are currently just below eleven million people living in Greece, 46% of them are men, and 54% female.

4. Greece is located in the Mediterranean, somewhat between Turkey, Albania and Bulgaria. It covers 99% land and 1% sea.

6. Farmers grow olives, grapes, melons, peaches, tomatoes and oranges. These are important crops because they are some of the things that Greece exports to other countries. Tobacco and cotton are grown also and exported.

7. For my delicious Greek cuisine I have chosen to prepare and produce is the famous Greek salad. Greek salad is a summer salad in Greek cuisine. The salad is made with pieces of tomatoes, sliced cucumber, red capsicum, red onion, sliced or cubed feta cheese, and kalamata olives, typically seasoned with salt, pepper and dried oregano, and dressed with olive oil. Common additions include vinegar, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.

9. For a normal average serving of Greek salad, it contains 440 calories, 39 grams of fat, 15 grams of carbohydrate and 10 grams of protein.
