What to do You need to write a diary for your character. This will explain whats happening from their point of view.

BUT You need to watch out for the newsflashes They will tell you whats going on in Egypt and will give you the next thing to write about.

Newsflash! Thursday 1 st April Pharaoh refuses to let the Israelites go; God is angry. He promises ten plagues on the Egyptians.

Newsflash! Tuesday 13 th April The river Nile turns to blood. All fish are dead. Its the first plague.

Newsflash! Tuesday 20 th April Its raining frogs! Frogs cover the land.

Newsflash! Saturday 24 th April Dust around the town turns to gnats. Its the third plague. Pharaoh still does not give in.

Newsflash! Wednesday 4 th May Big flies swarm houses of Egyptians.

Newsflash! Sunday 15 th May Egyptians lose cattle, sheep and goats as mystery fifth plague strikes the animals.

Newsflash! Thursday 19 th May Ash in the air covers the Egyptians in boils and sore spots. Doctors fear another plague.

Newsflash! Monday 23rd May Worst storm in Egyptian history as hail and snow pound on the land. Dont leave your home, the weatherman says. Pharaoh still wont let Israelites go.

Newsflash! Saturday 28th May Swarm of locusts eat everything in sight. Pharaoh still says no to Moses.

Newsflash! Monday 30th May This is the longest night weve ever had, cries an Egyptian as three days of darkness fall. Israelites have normal daylight. I wish Pharaoh would give in, cries an Egyptian child.

Newsflash! Wednesday 2 nd June Moses announces that God will kill the oldest child in each Egyptian family. The tenth plague has arrived. Israelites are spared the suffering.

Newsflash! Thursday 10 th May Pharaoh gives in. Israelites are free to leave in the morning.
