Considering your work as a BAU profiler, what was the speaker’s motivation for killing Porphyria? What evidence do you have to support your conclusions? Do you believe this person will kill again? What evidence from his “confession” (the poem itself) do you have to support your theory?

ProfilerCourt ReporterSuspect You have a suspect in custody and a copy of the unsub’s confession. Your task is to prepare questions that you will ask of the unsub. Write a dialogue or description of your talking with a spouse about the upcoming interrogation. What are your thoughts and feelings? What concerns do you have? Later you will record the responses of both profiler and unsub. You should also note demeanor of the unsub. You have been picked up as a suspect in a murder case. You will prepare yourself for the interrogation. What questions should you anticipate answering?

ProfilerCourt ReporterSuspect Write a recommendatio n as to whether you feel the unsub can be prosecuted or no. Explain your answer. Write a follow-up conversation with your spouse about today’s proceedings (the interrogation of the unsub by the profiler). Write a diary/journal entry discussing the aftermath of the interrogation with the profiler.
