6 LOG 210 Pilot Course Results l Course delivered at DAU-South campus, 8-10 August 2006 l 17 students attended, 14 USAF, 3 Army, 0 Navy –USAF heavy class; Navy absence a concern –Students tended toward Level III expertise l 4 DAU faculty participating (largely monitoring) l 7 LOGSA SME’s presented tools l 3 other LOGSA participants l Bottom Line: Course shows potential, fills a workforce need, and conforms with future DAU Core Plus framework….but l Student feedback from pilot course reflects needed improvement

9 LOG 210 Course Manager After Action Report l Postpone planned 1Q FY 07 offering to facilitate course corrections and instructor training for LOGSA SMEs l Course manager to coordinate with LOGSA on corrective actions l Identify more clearly ILS tools from USAF and Navy l Course manager to coordinate with DAU ISD on learning objectives l Format for course modules will be: –Intro of ILS tool concept (e.g., ILS planning) –Explore the tool (e.g., LOGPARS) –Apply the tool in a practical exercise (e.g., LOGPARS supporting ILS planning) –Evaluate/feedback to gauge learning l Identify DAU faculty for teaching certification l Offer 2Q FY 07 course in Huntsville with largely Army audience l Coordinate with FIPT to identify demand for other FY 07 offerings

It is capable of providing lightly armored reconnaissance, intelligence, joint services communications and fire support coordination for combat operations.
