Specially Designed Instruction NYS Regulation: Section 200.1(vv) Adapting, as appropriate to the needs of an eligible student, the content, methodology, or delivery of instruction to address the unique needs that result from the student’s disability; and to ensure access of the student to the general curriculum, so that he or she can meet the education standards that apply to all students.

5. Specially Designed Instruction Table Activity Part I Select a partner to work with at your table. Each pair chooses a scenario to read. Each pair should do the following: Re-read the chosen scenario Identify evidence of Specially Designed Instruction Record pieces of evidence of Specially Designed Instruction; 1 piece of evidence per post-it. Partners will have 5 minutes to complete the activity. Save post it evidence for Part II.
