Examples Using FaceBook, MySpace, Blogs, Instant Messaging, or text messages to put others down, spread rumors, or make inappropriate comments to or about others. “I hate you and everyone else hates you.” “I heard Jimmy failed his Science test and now he has to go to “dummy” classes.” “You throw a baseball like my wimpy little sister.”

Prevention Follow AUP rules within school. Do unto others as you would have done to you. If the comments are questionable, don’t do it at all. If it’s not appropriate for an adult to read, don’t write it.
