How are the Health Care facilities in Lebanon organized?
There are private expensive facilities, and public cheap or free facilities. Unfortunately all of them need improvement.

What happens to ill uninsured people in Lebanon
What happens to ill uninsured people in Lebanon? (Is it different for children and adults?) They don’t get treatment except in a rare and extreme event. The only way they will get treatment is by paying. It’s the same for children and adults.

What could be improved to make Healthcare better accessible for children in Lebanon?
People with low income should be provided with free insurance or insurance at low cost. We can also have specialized child clinics.

Does Lebanon have the funds to be able to give HealthCare to everyone?
No Lebanon does not have the funds, but we hope that this changes.

Does Lebanon have any chances of giving HealthCare to everyone?
Yes we can. Increasing taxes on people with higher income. We also have highly educated physicians that should raise more awareness to the government.

How many uninsured people are there in Lebanon?
About 50-60% of the Lebanese population is uninsured.

Who would be able to provide Health Care in Lebanon?
The Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon are the ones who would be able to provide Health Care in Lebanon.

What can we do to make a change?
We can ask for help from international organizations such as the World Health Organization (W.H.O.). We can raise money for the government. And we can make health awareness campaigns.

What can you as an individual do to change the health care in Lebanon?
We can start charities, promote good health habits, protect the environment, and ban unhealthy things such as smoking.
