3 AWP: CH. 1 - TEN WORDS IN CONTEXT:
1. affinity (ə-fĭn’ĭ-tē) - noun It is hard for someone with an affinity for warm weather to be happy living in Alaska. a. a preference b. a fear c. ignorance 2. fledgling (flĕj’lĭng) - adjective The short-story class if full of fledgling writers.
