Electrical Safety Considerations We made sure that the motor was capable to resist the max voltage the solar panels could provide which are 12 volts. The motor has a voltage range from 9 to 18V. For the propeller to turn in the right direction we made sure the polarity was correctly installed. For the propeller to turn in the right direction we made sure the polarity was correctly installed. Every wire is covered and all joints were made with electrical tape to prevent electrical safety hazards. Mechanical Safety Considerations We made sure that all implements could withstand the stress the motor would create We made sure that all implements could withstand the stress the motor would create We used water resistant adhesives to ensure the sturdiness of the boat. We used water resistant adhesives to ensure the sturdiness of the boat. All the parts were the adequate size to ensure the proportionality and the distribution of the weight.
