2 Notebook Set-up Write the following down if you don’t have your notebook / dividers w/ you today

3 Label your dividers / tabs 1. Vocabulary 2. Diagrams 3. Notes 4. HOSA 5. Returned / graded assignments

4 What you have so far & where it goes 1 st page should be syllabus Get a zippered pencil pouch or zip-loc bag to put in section for vocabulary and keep your flash cards there Graded work should include:  Govt Regulations worksheet  HC21: Safety, Safety Precautions & Infection Control  Handwashing checklist Put Glove checklist in notes section Safety Poster grade sheet goes in HOSA section

5 Infection Control Writing Get out a sheet of notebook paper Get out your Infection Control Work Red book = Unit 13, pg. 297-344

6 Guidelines: Must be neat & legible Use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. Should have an introduction, body, and conclusion Use proper vocabulary Minimum 1 page (front only) Will count as your Writing for Q1  10% of your grade!!!!

7 Writing Prompt What are some ways to break the chain of infection at each link of the chain? Turn in basket when done Work on History of Healthcare project
