Purpose Our purpose is to enable Iowa's students who are blind or visually impaired to function as independently as possible in all aspects of life by providing appropriate educational opportunities, resources, and support services.

Assessment of Braille Literacy Skills (ABLS) See ABLS Scoring form on website Used with all students using Braille New line asking if student is receiving Braille instruction-mark yes or no Used in gathering data for Strategic Plan Score sheets will be used to “drill down” in analysis of progress in braille skills by area. Form due May 1 st
