4  Approximately 30 ongoing Chapter campaigns ◦ New RAP Committee in Long Beach ◦ RAP Hawaii Chapters: Statewide Chapters Meeting focused on RAP ◦ DC Chapter Advocacy for bag ban ◦ PNW JUNKride Awareness Component - ◦ Virginia Beach: “2009 will be dedicated to a RAP campaign for the VA chapter” says Chapter Chair Ari ◦ Capt. Charles Moore to give boat tour at SoCal Chapters Conference ◦ RAP Select Committee of Activists (HI, OR, East Coast, SD, SF, LA, Monterey)

5  Local Ordinances ◦ Monterey, Santa Cruz, Encinitas, CT, Malibu, Seattle  Litigation ◦ “Save the Plastic Bag” suit (note: we are not a party) ◦ Possible Litigation with NRDC and Environment Now  Legislation ◦ Statewide: CA, CT, HI ◦ Federal: 5 cent fee  Trademark
