2014 NSS/MIC Mobile App Status OS targets – iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows 8 Mobile, and Internet browser version o Primary focus is smartphones o Will work on tablets, but not fully tested (except for iPad) o Auto-rotation only functional on iOS Initial beta version in development o Ready for committee evaluation – end of March o First deployment – May (Apple iTunes, Google Play Store, conference website) Investment total now $53K o $23K: Initial iOS/Android-only app o $15K: Add Blackberry, Windows 8 Mobile, and Browser versions (replaces tablet deployment plan) o $4.5K: Expanded interactive mapping o $10.5K: Multi-tiered program architecture While the cost is higher than originally budgeted, the additional fees for expanded features and capabilities are NRE costs.
