Introduction to being veterinary assistant Being a Veterinary assistant is definitely rewarding yet it can be challenging. Being around sick wounded animals can be hard on somebody but I've dealt with animals before and i think i'd rather help sick animals then watch them suffer :( Overall its a very rewarding job which I think suits me.

In conclusion, a vet assistant takes care of distressed animals and helps out the vet while they work on the animal. Though they don't make great money you can make a living off of it and i'd love to do this job because i love animals and i'd like to help animals in need. Conclusion
