Gal 5:1 Freedom is what we have---Christ has set us free! Stand, then, as free people, and do not allow yourselves to become slaves again.

Would the apostle’s teaching lead the Galatians into lawlessness or into godliness? having been delivered from slavery to heathenism, they were in danger of becoming entangled in slavery to the Mosaic Law.

“Dog” Dogs are protected and depended on their owners Dogs have limited choices and are kept in bondage by their owners Their liberty depends on their owners Their quality of life depends on their owners

“Duck” Ducks are vulnerable depend on God’s provision and their knowledge No one owns them they are free Free but totally vulnerable

“Dog” like people Belong to a human owner Controlled by others Freedom depends on others Limited choices Kept in bondage

“Duck” like people Free humans owed by no one Only dependent of the provision of the creator Make your own decisions Liberated

“Duck” or “Dog” Free like a duck under God’s provision or Free like a dog under others provision The choice is yours God will take care of you any way

Freedom from Addictions Domestic oppression: wife, husband, children, family, friends Substance: alcohol, drugs, medication abuse, sugar, nicotine Bad habits: pornography, telling lies, gossip, over eating

Freedom to live quality lives Loving God and people Life long growing your potential Enjoy simplicity Salvation and eternal life Hope and satisfaction: Joy happiness

Conclusion Would the apostle’s teaching lead the Galatians into lawlessness or into godliness? It leads to godliness. Freedom in Christ gives you a “duck” life enjoy it.
