Time line 1978, Jan Baan begins the Baan Corporation to provide financial and administrative consulting. 1981, Baan begins to use Unix as their main operation 1982, Baan delivers it first software product 1984, Baan shift their focus development

Baan Services Application Management Service – It helps manage the IT services related to systems and applications. Counseling services – designed to help you improve your business agility. Education services – helps train your staff to provide them with a deep understanding of how solutions make easier lives.

Baan Internet application Prototype/product Developed a Java-based analog to the MS windows based application “BW” (Baan Windows). Delivered a working prototype of “BI” (Baan Internet) applications. Participated in transforming the prototype architecture to a product and contributed a number of components.
