6 How to use the Academic Map: 1.Print it out 2.Take it to your advising appointments 3.Cross out the classes you have AP/IB credit, Transfer Credit or currently enrolled in. APFall 2014

7 Academic Planner 1.Online tool within PeopleSoft (myUH) 2.Allows you to plan for future semesters 3.Allows students to enroll in classes directly from your Planner through a link to the Shopping Cart 4.Advisors can view your Academic Planner during advising appointments

8 Navigating the Academic Planner 1.Access.uh.edu 2.Login with either your Cougarnet ID or your PeopleSoft ID number

15 Navigating the Academic Planner 9. Select the first letter of the subject name for the desired course (GENB 3302). 10. Select the appropriate course and add to your planner. *Remember to review notes regarding when the course is typically offered.

17 Navigating the Academic Planner 11. Organize your planner by selecting the desired course “GENB3302” and choose the term that you would like to take this course from the drop box. Then select “move.”

18 Navigating the Academic Planner 12. After moving the course to the desired term you will receive confirmation

19 Navigating the Academic Planner 13. You will see the remaining courses that you have added to your planner that need to be assigned a term *ECON 2304 on the Academic Map is listed for Fall 2015

20 1.Review your planner for the desired semester. (Spring 2015) 2.Select the course desired to enroll in From Planning to Enrollment

21 3. Review course information such as Enrollment Requirements From Planning to Enrollment

22 4. Select “View Class Sections” to chose a specific time and professor 5. Review “open” courses 6. “Select” desired class section 7. Select “next” to move course to shopping cart From Planning to Enrollment

23 8. You will receive a confirmation message. You may continue adding courses to your shopping cart or finish enrolling in the course by selecting “click here.” From Planning to Enrollment Course name

24 9. Select “My Planner” and select “search.” From Planning to Enrollment Spring 2015

25 10. Choose “select” to continue adding classes for the designated term. From Planning to Enrollment Spring 2015

26 11. After selecting all courses for the term, your shopping cart will be similar to the below cart. Select all courses and choose “enroll” to continue. From Planning to Enrollment Spring 2015

27 12. To complete the process, select “finish enrolling.” From Planning to Enrollment

28 13. You may now view your completed class schedule for the term. 14. Upon successful completion of enrollment, you will see green check marks next to your enrolled courses. From Planning to Enrollment
