OBJECTIVES: 1.List key facts related to the SACSCOC reaffirmation process. 2.Verbalize understanding of SACSCOC Principles focusing on those specific to job responsibility. 3.Describe the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) for the College. 4.Identify actions to prepare for the September 30 - October 2, 2014 SACSCOC site visit.

Benefits of Accreditation 1.Students are eligible for federal financial aid. 2.Degrees, diplomas, and certificates are generally viewed more favorably for employment. 3.Courses transfer to institutions of higher learning.

Reaffirmation Process: Development of a QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) topic (2012) Internal review of College compliance with the “Principles of Accreditation” (2013) Submission of Compliance Report (March 2014) Review of Compliance Report off-site by an 8 member peer review team (May 2014) “SACS FACTS”

Submission of Focused Report addressing the off-site review team comments (August 2014) Submission of QEP (August 2014) Site Visit on September 30 - October 2, 2014 with 8 member peer review team If we receive recommendations after site visit, we will submit a follow-up report within five months.
