New and updated resources –International Bylaws/Governing Documents –District Manual –Membership Manual –Continuous updates of ZI website –Updated scholarship criteria Zonta Service Recognition Award Commission on Status of Women – CSW59 –This year more Zontians participated than ever before

What’s New in District 10? New Z Club sponsored by Johnson County –Z Club of Godley ROAR (Godley High School)

What’s New in District 10? JMK recipient at ZI level –Lindsay Smith, University of Oklahoma

What’s New in District 10? AE Fellow –Hieu Truong, a citizen of Vietnam, who studies Mechanical Engineering at Texas A & M –Working on hybrid composite materials for space vehicles

What Have We Accomplished? We are advocates! –Zonta Says No/16 Days of Activism –Most clubs participated!

What Have We Accomplished? We are gaining members –Zonta Club of Longview was recently named largest club in Zonta International!

What Have We Accomplished? We do service projects that make a difference –Even smaller clubs are impacting their communities through their service

Where Are We Headed? Advocacy –Promote passage of CEDAW Service –Give at Area Meetings and District Conferences Membership –Use every opportunity to market Zonta Zonta Changes Lives!

ZI Service Award Recognition Recognize outstanding service projects by Zonta clubs and districts which benefit women in the local community Two categories –Projects that empower women and girls to achieve equal rights and secure access to all resources –Projects that focus on prevention of root causes of violence against women and girls through education

ZI Service Award Recognition (cont) Clubs may nominate up to two projects, one in each category Districts may nominate one project in either of the two ZI Service Committee will select six best club projects and three best district projects Nominations from districts due Feb 8 2016

D10 Raffle for 2015 Conference 68th District 10 Conference, Oct 15-18, 2015 in Houston, TX Cost $25, value up to $500 Reimbursable for registration, hotel, transportation costs Transferable to any D 10 member Only 100 tickets will be sold Drawing to be held Sep 4, 2015 in Cleburne, TX POC Marianne Seal, D10 Treasurer Proceeds to D10 Foundation Tickets are available from any District 10 Board member
