Mission of Region 4 Help the Sections in Region 4 to be Successful – in serving the IEEE members in the Section and helping IEEE members in the Section to be successful, & and in fulfilling other defined goals of the Section, Region, and IEEE

Vision of LR&SPC Ensure Value to Members Provide support for technical, professional, educational programs, employment services, and career development, Improve awareness of financial benefits Ensure vitality and contributions of geographic organizational units Enhance ability of sections/chapters to provide technical and professional programs Provide support for new methods for delivery of programs Gather and disseminate best practices of sections/chapters Be at the forefront of communications among members, geographic units, and IEEE Utilize conference call, email, web pages, virtual community, electronic meeting, e-notice, mailings lists, share program notices

Vision of LR&SPC Be a leader in volunteer development Provide training and tools for volunteer recruitment, support, and recognition Provide student leadership training and financial support Develop GOLD leadership Promote our profession to students, engineering community, and public Strengthen Pre-College activities Promote and support Regional conference activities Promote Membership development and diversity Promote influence of public policy at the local, state, and federal levels
