Improper Use of Equipment
Subpart M (b)(1) Unprotected sides and edges . Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 ft. or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.

(a) Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury…shall be protected by protective helmets. (a) …ear protection shall be provided and used Employees shall be provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury… 1

Proper Use of Guardrail System
(b)(1) Top edge of toprails. Or equivalent shall be 42 inches plus or minus 3 inches above the walking/working level... (b)(2)(i) Midrails, when used, shall be installed at a height midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking/working level (b)(3) Guardrail systems must be capable of withstanding without failure, a force of at least 200 lbs….

Improper Use of Crane (a)(15)(i)For lines rated 50kv or below, minimum clearance between the lines and any part of the crane or load shall be 10 feet.
